For the last 17 years I have combined two of my biggest passions, travel and photography so I thought why not share some of my stories of the path both well and less trodden from over the last few years. I'll be sharing tales from places such as Bosnia, Japan and Italy amongst others as well as my personal and totally biased favourite... Leicester. I will be adding more as I go whether it's a photography trip, technique I've been trying or some new equipment that I have come across.
I am based in Leicester and am currently shooting with the incredible Nikon D850.

It all began when I went to visit my uncle who is a nurse in the Channel Islands in the early 90's and he gave me a Minolta point and shoot. I was hooked! Having loved using my camera but having absolutely no training or lessons, as a hobby, it got pushed to the back of the queue when it came hobbies in my teenage years. The light trail and sequence photography that I loved so much in skateboarding magazines, such as Thrasher, were always unobtainable to me due to equipment and ability. It wasn't until an accident at a Subhumans gig in Leicester when I dropped my Fuji bridge camera and the insurance sent me an entry level Nikon DSLR did I realise that this is what cameras are meant to be like. I still enjoy going to Punk and Metal gigs but tend to leave my camera at home for them so I can just enjoy. When it comes to my photography my passion seems to be a lot tamer with a major focus on landscape, nature and architecture.
